Worcester Reenactor will be at the Fleece Inn, for Wassail, an age old tradition, dating back before the 5th C we will be joining in the celebrations, Making noise and firing into Apple trees to ward off bad spirits from the orchards whilst pleasing the spirits of the fruit trees, to ensure a bountiful crop of fruit in the year ahead. This is Living History – keeping traditions alive, and all the more enjoyable being in a National Trust property and working pub with lots of character and it’s own history.
