Battle of Worcester Parade and Drumhead service

3 September @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Come and Join the Battle of Worcester Society and Worcester Reenactors In commemorating the Final Battle of the English Civil Wars. We will be remembering all that gave their lives and ended rule by divine right of kings, beginning the path to the Parliamentary rule that we have today. Everyone is welcome to join us for the parade at the Cornmaket, Guildhall or come to Fort Royal

Timetable

6:00 pm The Reenactors form up in the Cornmarket

6:10 pm The Parade marches up Mealcheapen Street, Church Street along the High Street to the Guildhall.

6:20 pm The Mayoral party and others Join the Parade at the Guildhall.

6:30 pm The Parade marches to Fort Royal

6:45 pm The Drumhead service starts, During the service there will be a musket volley to mark the start and end of a minutes silence.

7:00 pm The Service ends

Everyone is welcome to join us at the Cardinals Hat in Friar Street. We have entertainment with Charlie Williams, a local folk musician.
